Esther Carpenter, a native of picturesque and historic Natchez, Mississippi, studied Fine Art at Hollins College in Virginia. While she is also a nationally recognized professional Chef, Esther is best known as the head of Esther Carpenter Design Inc., the premier decorative painting company in Los Angeles. Her creative handi-work has appeared in Architectural Digest and graces the homes and businesses of some of the most illustrious names in the country. The stunning ceiling of the Great Hall at Tara Lago is just one example of her company's expertise. Esther's latest creations draw inspiration from the works of the early Impressionists who frequently searched for their subject matter in the great outdoors ("plein-air"). Her use of light and color meld to form exquisite visual poems without words. Using her deft brushwork, Esther reminds us to pause for a moment and appreciate the natural beauty that surrounds us.
